25 Under 25: Making Room for the Next Generation
A judged class designed to spotlight young enthusiasts and the cars they are preserving, restoring, and personalizing.
If you have been around Artomobilia for a while, you have probably noticed the same thing we have. The cars are still incredible. The conversations are still great. But the hair color of many longtime participants has changed a bit since we started. That is certainly true for me.
That observation is not a criticism. It is a reality. And it is also an opportunity.
Artomobilia has always been about more than cars. It is about people, community, and passing along an appreciation for design, craftsmanship, and mechanical storytelling. If we want that spirit to continue, we need to be intentional about welcoming the next generation of enthusiasts.
That is why we are introducing a new judged class this year called 25 Under 25.
This class is open to owners who are 25 years old or younger, showing cars that are at least 25 years old. That puts the spotlight on vehicles from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. These are the cars younger enthusiasts are discovering, saving, modifying, and falling in love with right now.
The same judging standards used across Artomobilia will apply, including condition, presentation, and overall execution
The class is intentionally open to both domestic and foreign cars, with no brand or country bias
The focus is on young men and women who are actively participating in and shaping today’s automotive culture
What excites us most is not just the cars. It is the stories behind them. First restorations. First project cars. Cars saved on tight budgets with a lot of patience, creativity, and grit. We were all here once… and what could be better than celebrating the enthusiasm and potential of youth.
The 25 Under 25 class is about creating space. Space for new voices, new energy, and a generation that will carry automotive enthusiasm forward in their own way.
We are proud of where Artomobilia started. We are just as excited about where it is headed.
Share this with your son, daughter, niece, nephew or grandchild… and remind them to sign-up during the first week of March when registration opens.
