Artomobilia’s 2026 Expanded Footprint

For nearly two decades, Artomobilia has grown alongside Carmel by focusing on community, partnership, and a shared appreciation for the art and design of the automobile.

Artomobilia began 19 years ago with a clear charter: bring guests into downtown Carmel, introduce them to its unique merchants, restaurants, and businesses, and create an experience that would encourage them to return with friends and family. That purpose has guided every decision since, and it remains the foundation of the event today.

Over time, Artomobilia has grown not because it set out to be bigger, but because the community embraced it. That growth has been made possible through a strong partnership with the Mayor and her team, along with the leadership and support of the City of Carmel’s Police, Fire, Street, and Marketing departments. Their collaboration ensures a safe, welcoming, and well-coordinated experience that fits naturally within the city.

Following a banner year in 2025, Artomobilia returns on Saturday, August 29, 2026 with a thoughtfully expanded footprint across the Carmel Arts & Design District and Midtown. This expansion allows the event to better serve participants, guests, and local businesses while staying true to its original intent.

The 2026 event footprint includes:

North Rangeline Road and Monon Boulevard

  • Extending from the North at 6th Street (along Rangline) to nearly City Center Drive (along Monon Blvd), creating a stronger connection through the Midtown corridor.

  • Main Street

On Main Street, continuing from 3rd Avenue on the west end to 1st Avenue on the east end, preserving the heart of the Arts & Design District experience.

This expanded layout invites guests to explore more of downtown Carmel, discover restaurants and merchants along the southern end of Midtown, and experience the city in a way that feels open, walkable, and welcoming.

Artomobilia remains focused on serving the Indianapolis and Hamilton County automotive community by partnering with the City of Carmel to celebrate the art and design of the automobile.

Join us as Artomobilia returns to downtown Carmel in 2026 with an expanded footprint and the same community-first focus that has guided the event from the beginning. Registration opens the first week of March, and we look forward to welcoming you back.
